The 2011 California Library Association conference is starting tomorrow and the Rancho Cucamonga Library Services will be out in force! Off hand, I believe we are doing SIX programs, we will be displaying our Play and Learn IslandsTM in the Exhibit Hall, will showcase our new iCell as part of the poster sessions, and we will even get a few awards during the conference gala. All in all, if people didn't know how we roll in Rancho before this conference, they certainly will after!
I personally am very excited about this year's conference. Michelle has done an amazing job putting together the program. There will be some great master speakers (Sir Ken Robinson will be the bomb!), a nice selection of relevant, great pre-conference programs that many of us will be attending, and tons of individual sessions that will be of interest to everyone.
So let's have fun in Pasadena and represent our Library as only we can!

The truck is being loaded with Play and Learn IslandsTM even as I write this. Wess, with his sidekick Ben, has done an amazing job today first delivering a Play and Learn IslandTM to the Riverside City Library then picking up more Play and Learn IslandsTM at Arch before heading to VG. Thanks Wess!
